A trusted facility in Washington is looking to add a talented Rural Speech Language Pathologist to their Physical Therapy team! The Speech Language Pathologist will join a team of tenured medical professionals at an cutting edge facility that was opened last year with top of the line equipment to best serve their community. The Speech Language Pathologist will work with a team of experienced Speech Pathologists and will collaborate with a large interdisciplinary team in order to help their patients improve and assist them on their road to recovery. This role will report up to the on call Physician, and create a treatment plan based on their diagnosis. The SLP will evaluate the patient and create a treatment plan based on the long and short term needs of that patient. They will provide the patient and their family members with helpful tools needed for more effective communication techniques. You will encourage participation and provide guidance to both patients and staff when reviewing instructions. The Rural Speech Language Pathologist will accurately document patient progress and report any changes to their health care team.
