Volt is Immediately Hiring for - Senior Systems Administrator/Technical Architect
As  Senior Systems Administrator/Technical Architect  – You will: 

Requirements (Must Haves) :
Security Clearance : Public Trust with the ability to Obtain and Maintain a DOE Q Clearance
Its - 4/10s with 3 days needing to be on-site, more if needed - 
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide primary support and management of the IT server infrastructure and hosted systems.
  • Support first-tier technical staff with the resolution of more complex issues related to software tools, applications, databases, and system access.
  • Analyse and resolve hardware and software problems for end users, with primary emphasis on server-related issues.
  • Support System Administration of primary VMware platforms across the site, among other technologies
  • Provide troubleshooting support for IT staff.
  • Recommend hardware and software solutions to meet end user and IT needs.
  • Support Cyber Security compliance and audit preparation in coordination with the Cyber Security Team.
  • Consults with internal departments to identify customer needs and include into both operational and project objectives.
  • Remain conversant with the industry’s computer security technology and practices with technical skills and applicable experience with related technologies.
  • Define and document best practices and support procedures.
 
Requirements :
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science and at least 5 years relevant experience. An additional 5 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree, with four or more of the technical categories listed below.
  • Microsoft Windows and Server Operating Systems;
  • Oracle, RHEL & Linux Operating Systems;
  • VMWare Horizon View, vCenter, vSphere;
  • Microsoft SCCM, System Center Suite and Patch Management,
  • Microsoft 365, EntraID and Exchange Hybrid environments
  • Active Directory.
  • SAN Infrastructure.
  • Disaster recovery/contingency planning;
  • DFS Namespace and Replication,
  • DNS, DHCP;
  • Microsoft Certificate Authority, SSL certificates, KMS licensing
  • Dell Wyse Management
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Consults with internal departments to identify customer needs and include into both operational and project objectives.
  • Remain conversant with the industry’s computer security technology and practices with technical skills and applicable experience with related technologies.
 
This is a Contract , Full time opportunity.
 
Location : Piketon OH
Contract : 6+ Month
Pay Rate : $60-62 Per hour .
