I am currently working with a leading AM LAW 100 ranked firm , who are actively looking to recruit a commercial real estate attorney to join their Chicago office.

Job Description:

The international group is seeking an experienced and motivated Real Estate Attorney to join it's Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough legal research on real estate matters.
• Advise on construction contracting.
• Draft and negotiate design, construction, and development agreements across various industry sectors.
• Draft and negotiate EPC contracts, including large infrastructure and energy projects.
• Drafting and reviewing real estate transaction documents, including contracts, leases, and agreements.
• Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on real estate transactions and disputes.
• Representing clients in real estate negotiations and transactions.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Illinois state bar.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing real estate law - ideally gained in a large law firm setting.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
