*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. *Responsibilities*
* Monitor the health and progress of laboring patients through continuous assessment.
* Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
* Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding labor, delivery, and newborn care.
* Assist in the delivery process, including performing necessary procedures such as catheterization when required.
* Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation throughout the labor and delivery process.
* Participate in specimen collection processing as needed.
* Educate patients on family planning options post-delivery.
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies.

*Qualifications*
* Registered Nurse (RN) license required; BSN preferred.
* Proven knowledge of physiology and medical terminology essential for patient care.
* Experience in long-term care or home community care is advantageous.
* Skills in specimen collection processing are a plus.
* Ability to perform catheterization and other necessary procedures competently.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
