Weekend Group Facilitator (Substance Use Disorder Counselor)

Location: York, PA
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday (6-8 hours total)

Position Overview:

As a Weekend Group Facilitator, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their recovery journey by leading therapeutic group sessions. This position offers a part-time schedule ideal for professionals seeking meaningful weekend work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate engaging and therapeutic group sessions focused on client recovery and growth.
Foster a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for all participants.
Document group session activities and client participation in the Electronic Clinical Record (ECR) per program guidelines.
Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized physical environment for clients.
Ensure adherence to clinical philosophy and program policies during group facilitation.
Qualifications:

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Master's Degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, or counseling with licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or certification (CAADC).
Master's Degree with ongoing progress toward licensure or certification.
Bachelor's Degree with CADC or progress toward CADC and at least one year of clinical experience.
High School Diploma with CAAC.
Registered Nurse with a degree from an accredited school and one year of clinical experience.
