Massage Therapist at ECHN summary:
A Massage Therapist administers therapeutic massage in accordance with prescribed standards and techniques at ECHN rehab sites. They are required to be graduates of an accredited massage therapy school, hold or be eligible for a Connecticut license, and have at least one year of progressive experience. Essential duties include performing various massage techniques, using universal precautions, and maintaining a safe environment for clients.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Administers therapeutic massage in accordance with prescribed standards and techniques. Provides massage therapy at ECHN rehab sites.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
· Graduate of an accredited school of massage therapy.
· Must hold or is eligible for Ct license and have one year progressive experience in massage therapy.
