The Massage Therapist administers therapeutic massage utilizing prescribed techniques to promote recovery at ECHN rehab sites. The position requires a graduate from an accredited massage therapy school with eligibility for licensing in Connecticut and at least one year of progressive experience. Essential duties include performing various massage techniques, ensuring safety and hygiene standards, and assisting in marketing efforts when necessary.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Administers therapeutic massage in accordance with prescribed standards and techniques. Provides massage therapy at ECHN rehab sites.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
· Graduate of an accredited school of massage therapy.
· Must hold or is eligible for Ct license and have one year progressive experience in massage therapy.
