Join Our Team at Abcam (MitoSciences) as a Logistics Technician!

Location: 1800 Millrace Drive, Eugene

At Abcam, we believe in making a difference through science, and we're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Technician to join our team on-site in Eugene. As an integral part of our logistics team, you'll help ensure the smooth operation of our inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes. This is a hands-on role that demands accuracy, efficiency, and a passion for supporting the broader team.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Component Labeling & Kit Assembly

• Assemble components for finished good kits with precision, contributing to high-quality products.
• Manage inventory records as you assemble intermediate and final goods, ensuring accuracy in all steps.

Operational Support

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment to ensure the well-being of your team and meet all safety regulations.
• Uphold global health and quality standards , ensuring every product meets Abcams renowned excellence.
• Support cross-functional teams , assisting with additional tasks as needed.
• Perform inventory cycle counts , including raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.

Data Management & Efficiency

• Use Oracle MRP and SCALE WMS databases to quickly and accurately locate materials.
• Assist with inventory assessments , including spot checks, warehouse transfers, and digital scrap requests, ensuring the integrity of our supply chain.

Key Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in both sitting and standing for extended periods.
• Proficient computer skills , especially with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous inventory management or cycle counting experience is preferred. Familiarity with Oracle or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong multitasking skills , with the ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively with both managers and peers.
