Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certifications
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting

Responsibilities

As a Med-Surg Nurse (RN), you will provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures. Your duties will include:

• Completing assignments made by physicians
• Providing routine treatment and post-surgical care
• Assessing changes in patient's health status and performing various treatments
• Administering medication
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members
