A Travel Nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab is sought for a travel nursing position in Evansville, Indiana.

Requirements and Details

Previous cath lab experience is required. ACLS certification is necessary. The shift consists of four 9 or 10 hour Monday through Friday shifts per week, including one weekday night shift of call (M-TH) and every 4th weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, monitoring, and intervention for cardiac procedures such as coronary stents, Swan Ganz/RHC, balloon valvuloplasty, angioplasty, and pericardiocentesis.
• Manage paperwork, including patient consent forms, charting, lab results, and procedure documentation.
• Collaborate with other medical staff as needed.
• Administer oral and intravenous medications.
• Manage and monitor patients under conscious sedation for adverse events.
