We're looking for talented salespeople to join our Private Equity Fund Administration team. Our customers are primarily Private Equity, Private Credit, and Real Estate Funds. Carta's platform allows these clients to track and manage their portfolios while liaising with their investors.As a member of the Fund Admin sales team, you’ll introduce top tier clients to our wide range of product offerings, including Fund Administration, portfolio management, reporting and analytics, investor management, investor portal, valuations, and data collection. These Carta services include selling consultative access to our team of Carta fund administration accountants who support funds reporting needs. We offer a tech-focused investor portal to both the fund GPs/Admins and also their investors/LPs.You will also work closely with new PE funds as they navigate the process of forming a new fund. That process involves advising them on best practices and referring them to additional vendors which may include fund formation lawyers and audit professionals.The Problems You’ll Solve

Communicate the business impact of our product offerings to key decision makersDemonstrate ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building to identify and sell new opportunitiesOwn sales cycles that could be up to 12 monthsUnderstand customer needs and requirements and act as a trusted business advisorBuild and expand a network across the industry to enhance Carta's visibility and create new business opportunitiesDrive revenue through strategic outbound prospectingOwn the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to closeDevelop a comprehensive sales strategy and sales plan that ensures consistent achievement of goals over the short and long-termParticipate in industry events, conferences, and seminarsAbout You

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field5 - 10+ years of Fund Administration sales experienceIn-depth understanding of fund structures (Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, or Real Estate)Experience managing a pipeline and closing large contractsProven ability to execute, especially negotiation and closingIntellectually curious, fast learnerArticulate, poised, and conciseFlexible and resilientCompetitive and driven to achieve goalsNice-to-Haves

Experience in venture capital, private equity, institutional investing, or wealth management preferredRelevant sales experience, preferably in a SaaS or financial services organizationSalary

We are hiring for multiple levels and locations, so final offers may vary from the amounts listed based on geography, experience and expertise, and other factors.Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans.
