The position offers a hybrid remote opportunity and involves working alongside senior attorneys on a diverse range of commercial real estate and finance transactions. This role requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to handle complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.Duties :Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, deeds, and other transaction-related documents.Prepare and negotiate loan documents on behalf of both lenders and borrowers.Conduct due diligence, manage contingencies, and prepare title objections, survey and environmental reviews, and closing documents.Coordinate and review title commitments, UCC, judgment and lien searches, surveys, site plans, and leases.Oversee pre- and post-closing activities, including document preparation for filing/recording.Communicate effectively with clients, financial institutions, attorneys, and other stakeholders involved in the transactions.Manage and review commercial leasing documentation, including the negotiation of leases and common area maintenance clauses.Assist with municipal approvals and variances for development projects.Review and monitor agreements with developers and ensure compliance with conditions for payment disbursements.Draft and review initial documentation, seek necessary approvals and manage document execution.Requirements :4+ years of experience in commercial real estate and financing law.Prior experience or interest in land use and zoning transactions is a plus.Admission to the Connecticut Bar is required.Admission to the New York and Massachusetts Bars (or ability to waive in) is preferred.A Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and membership in good standing with the Bar is required.Strong commitment to client service and high-level professionalism.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, high-energy environment.Corporate experience and military background are welcome.Education :Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications :Admission to the Connecticut Bar (required).Admission to the New York and Massachusetts Bars (preferred).Skills :Strong drafting and negotiation skills.Proficiency in commercial real estate transactions.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal.Effective problem-solving and analytical thinking.Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.Job Location :Stamford, CT
