Job DescriptionHawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. Hawai'i Pacific Health is recognized nationally for its excellence in patient care and the use of electronic health records to improve quality and patient safety.The Revenue Integrity department ensures that Revenue Cycle staff and activity are in compliance with applicable State and Federal laws, regulations and organizational policies. It achieves this by collaborating with Revenue Cycle Task Force committees and processes for Hospital, Physician, Pharmacy, Pacific Islanders, Worker compensation, and direct oversight and management of the Billing, Charge Description Management, Coding, Admissions and Financial Service functions.As the Director of Physician Revenue Cycle Operations, you will provide essential oversight to all operational areas (charge entry, charge correction, billing, follow-up, collections, physician coding, and administration) within Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s Physician Central Billing Office (CBO). You will also ensure that all appropriate policies, guidelines, and practices are in place for staff within the group to meet department and organizational goals with respect to revenue recognition and collection. The focus of this position is to maintain compliance with all external laws and regulations while providing service to Hawai‘i Pacific Health departments, physicians, staff and external customers in a fiscally responsible manner. YesMinimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or healthcare related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Five (5) years of experience as a Certified Professional Coder in roles and projects of progressively greater scope and responsibility to include the training staff and physicians on charging and coding. Demonstrated familiarity with insurance requirements and regulations. Demonstrated knowledge and application of payor contracts and physician services. Current knowledge of CPT coding and ICD-9-CM requirements. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology with demonstrated experience with electronic medical record systems and related business processes or workflows.Preferred Qualifications:

Previous management experience in Patient Registration and/or healthcare. Previous experience in coding compliance. Knowledge of Epic and IDX.EOE/AA/Disabled/VetsPosition:
