Job DescriptionHawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians, and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. Its four medical centers - Kapi'olani, Pali Momi, Straub, and Wilcox - specialize in innovative programs in women’s health, pediatric care, cardiovascular services, cancer care, bone and joint services, and more. Hawai'i Pacific Health is recognized nationally for its excellence in patient care and the use of electronic health records to improve quality and patient safety.The Analytics & Management department forms part of the HealthAdvantage Support Services group, which provides Hawai‘i Pacific Health and its affiliates essential population utilization and financial management support, analyses, and modeling. The department also performs additional services in collaboration with the managed care services department including referral management, patient steerage, and claims auditing.Under the general direction of the Department Director or designee, the Analyst develops and applies methods to provide analytics and reporting services to support population health management, quality, and cost initiatives for all Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals, clinics, and other entities including Hawai‘i Health Partners. The Analyst analyzes, reviews, trends, and projects Hawai‘i Health Partners key metrics and supports the development of new programs, making recommendations to ensure the viability of Hawai‘i Health Partners.Work Schedule:

NoMinimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Finance, or Business related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Two (2) to three (3) years of experience working with healthcare analytics and/or financial reporting. Demonstrated experience in supporting or maintaining information systems and/or electronic health records. Demonstrated extensive experience utilizing a variety of reporting tools to extract data and prepare ad hoc reports.
