Tax Director

to join its team in Los Angeles, CA. With a strong focus on leadership development and cutting-edge technology, this role offers the flexibility and opportunity to succeed in a hybrid work model.The Tax Director will play a key leadership role in managing complex client engagements, providing strategic tax planning, and mentoring teams to ensure the highest standards of technical proficiency and client satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesOversee the preparation, review, and finalization of complex client tax returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy.Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to high-value clients across various industries.Manage client engagements, including planning, budgeting, and execution, while building and maintaining strong relationships.Supervise, mentor, and guide tax managers and staff, fostering their professional growth and ensuring adherence to professional standards.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, providing proactive advice to clients and firm leadership.Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying opportunities to expand the firm’s services and client base.QualificationsCPA license required.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of progressive public accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Expertise in complex tax laws, compliance, and planning.Proven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and drive business development.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range : $200,000 - $220,000 per year.Flexible hybrid work model for work-life balance (2-3 days per week onsite).Competitive benefits package, including access to leadership development programs and continuing education opportunities.
