Role: Locum Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
Location: Geneva, New York
Job Type: Locum
Schedule: Flexible shift options (day, night, and weekend shifts available)
Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
Patient Volume: Moderate to high volume depending on shift
Support Staff: Collaborative team of nurses, specialists, and advanced practice providers

Key Responsibilities:
Provide emergency care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions.
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
Perform necessary emergency procedures, including intubation, central line placement, and resuscitation.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and flow.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certification/Eligibility in Emergency Medicine (or relevant experience in Emergency Medicine if BC in another specialty)
Active New York medical license or eligibility to obtain one
ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certification preferred
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
