Position Details:
Role: Locum Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
Location: Berkshire County, Massachusetts
Schedule: Flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
Setting: Emergency Department in a community hospital

Key Responsibilities:
Provide emergency care to patients presenting with a wide range of conditions.
Triage and assess patients quickly to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Perform life-saving interventions and manage critical care cases in the emergency department.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to ensure optimal patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Manage and stabilize patients until they can be transferred to appropriate care settings, if necessary.

Qualifications:
MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
Active Massachusetts medical license or the ability to obtain one.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to make fast decisions in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team-based setting.
