  • Other Details: The facility which is trauma level 3. The schedule is available 1-2 months in advance, with a call ratio of 1:5. The position is for on-call work only, with an average number of scheduled patients depending on call needs. There are 4 physicians in the practice, and other OB/GYNs typically do not provide coverage during locums coverage dates. The practice is supported by 1-2 CNMs as APPs, with onsite lab and ultrasound services available. Support staff includes Labor & Delivery, postpartum, OR, and ER teams. Approximately 40% of the practice is low-risk pregnancy, and 60% is high-risk. The percentage of C-sections depends on the physician, and the average number of nursery admissions per day is 2-5.
