Core Industrial Maintenance is seeking a talented Accounts Payable Specialist. This position will include a variety of responsibilities, such as:

Job Costing: Coordinate with internal and external colleagues to track labor, material, overhead costs, etc., for projectsProcessing transactions: Managing vendor invoices in the accounting system, obtaining approval for payments, and processing paymentsMaintaining financial records: Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trendsResolving discrepancies: Investigating documentation and issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustmentsEnsuring financial security: Following internal accounting controls and completing database backupsPreparing financial reports: Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trendsVerifying accounts: Reconciling statements and transactionsRequirements:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred2 years relevant experienceStrong oral & written communication skillsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong mathematical and analytical skills.Able to work on-site at Core's Columbus, MS facility
