Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Lead to join our merchant services team. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping businesses with their payment processing needs.As an Inside Sales Lead, you will be responsible for generating new business, closing sales, and training new sales representatives. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to represent the company at industry trade shows, expanding our reach and networking with potential clients.Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting:Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective merchants to introduce and sell payment processing solutions.Respond to inbound leads from various marketing channels.Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers using CRM software.Sales & Customer Acquisition:Understand merchants’ business needs and recommend tailored payment processing solutions.Explain the benefits of merchant services, including credit card processing, POS systems, and digital payment solutions.Overcome objections and negotiate pricing to close deals effectively.Training & Mentorship:Assist in the onboarding and training of new sales representatives, helping them develop their product knowledge and sales techniques.Provide ongoing coaching, support, and best practices to new team members to ensure their success.Trade Shows & Industry Events:Represent the company at industry trade shows, networking events, and conferences to generate leads and promote our services.Engage with potential clients in person, demonstrate our payment solutions, and follow up on leads generated from events.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage long-term partnerships.Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.Work with account managers to ensure smooth onboarding for new clients.Industry & Product Knowledge:Stay up-to-date with payment industry trends, competitor offerings, and compliance requirements.Develop a deep understanding of credit card processing, payment gateways, POS systems, and merchant account services.Performance & Reporting:Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline data in CRM systems.Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.Skills

3-5 years of inside/outside sales experience in merchant services.Experience in a high-volume outbound sales environment is a plus.Previous experience in training or mentoring sales teams is highly desirable.Skills & Abilities

Strong cold calling and prospecting skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to build rapport and close deals over the phone.Comfortable presenting at trade shows and industry events.Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.Bilingual - English & Spanish is highly desired, but not a requirement.Experience Level
