Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our Workers' Compensation Law Office. This role requires strong organizational skills, computer skills, and proficiency in administrative tasks.
Duties
- Support workers' compensation attorney in various legal matters, including communication with clients, defense attorneys, and insurance adjusters.
- Manage case files, schedule medical appointments, and prepare documents for court hearings.
- Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Prepare and file documents with courts, and communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case status.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a workers' compensation law office is required.
- Strong written and communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Working Conditions
