This role is responsible for overseeing accounting operations across multiple product lines and entities, with a focus on automation and operational excellence. The position involves managing large-scale payroll operations and cash flow for an extensive workforce, requiring a deep understanding of business operations and strategic financial leadership.The ideal candidate will bring a blend of innovation, humility, and a growth mindset to the role, driving operational efficiency and challenging traditional industry norms to achieve outstanding results.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Financial LeadershipIn partnership with the CEO and COO establish performance benchmarks and recommend measures to evaluate the company's financial health.Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to optimize resource allocation and profitability.Assess investment opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions while managing the existing portfolio.Financial Operations & ControlEstablish and maintain robust accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.Oversee financial reporting, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance.Collaborate with operational leaders to optimize collections and meet financial targets.Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration and inclusivity.Provide mentorship to enhance team capabilities and ensure alignment with business objectives.Company Performance & Risk ManagementDevelop and monitor KPIs to drive performance improvement and strategic decision-making.Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure organizational stability and growth.Tax & ComplianceOptimize tax strategies in collaboration with external advisors.Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and ensure regulatory compliance.Ideal Candidate ProfileBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA required.10+ years of experience in accounting and finance leadership roles.Proven ability to lead teams as a hands-on, collaborative leader.Strong technical expertise, including proficiency in financial systems like Sage Intacct.Experience in the healthcare industry or working with Medicaid is preferred.Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.Core CompetenciesStrategic and results-driven thinker with a data-oriented approach.Effective communicator and approachable leader who fosters teamwork.Proven ability to manage complexity and drive large-scale initiatives.Seniority level
