*Job Overview:*
We are seeking an experienced *Travel Nuclear Medicine Technician (PET/NM Tech)* to support the PET expansion in our Atlanta, GA facility. This is a *13-week contract* position with a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The technician will work as part of a dynamic healthcare team providing nuclear medicine services, focusing on PET scans, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform and assist in conducting PET and nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols.
* Support the expansion and growth of PET imaging within the facility.
* Provide clear and accurate images for diagnosis, collaborating with radiologists and other medical professionals.
* Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
* Work efficiently and adhere to the departmental guidelines for operating equipment.
* Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
* Maintain accurate patient records in the Cerner system.
* Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet patient needs.

*Required Skills and Experience:*
* Minimum of *two years of experience* as a Nuclear Medicine Technician, with specific experience in PET imaging.
* Current *BLS (Basic Life Support) certification*.
* *NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board)* certification required.
* Proficiency with *Cerner* electronic medical record (EMR) system.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on patient care and safety.

* This is a *13-week contract* position with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.

Pay: $2,900.00 - $3,000.00 per week
