Integrated Talent Strategies is working with an industry leader to find a Systems Administrator. The Systems Administrator maintains and supports the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems, by working with Infor XA on an AS/400 and has a strong understanding of IBM i architecture, commands, and tools like CL programming.#LI-SR1ResponsibilitiesPerform system maintenance tasks, such as systems backup, recovery, and file maintenance to promote uptime and efficient performance.Acquires, installs, and tests system software upgrades and computer components.Configures software and resolves technical problems.Maintains documentation of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures.Manage Infor XA including user roles, workflows, and troubleshooting application-specific issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required.2+ years of related experience required.Experience with Infor XA is required.Experience with AS400/IBM Power Systems is required.Certifications such as IBM Certified System Administrator - IBM i is preferred.Proficient in DB2 for i and basic programming skills in RPG or CL required.Excellent written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance on systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware, software, and/or network solutions.Ability to analyze and resolve basic computer problems.Ability to communicate technical guidance and instruction to users on using PC, server, and/or network applications and systems.
