LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Contract Staff Attorney to join our client's Business Immigration Practice Group on a temporary contract basis. This role involves preparing complex nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions for national and multinational clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare various visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, and EB-1 categories.

Support the PERM labor certification process across diverse industries.

Research and review agency guidance, cases, regulations, and statutes related to immigration.

Interact with clients, governmental agencies, and other law firms.

Deliver high-quality work and communicate effectively within the firm.

Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and efficient work habits.

Continuously improve knowledge and skills through formal and informal training.

Collaborate with practice group members to serve clients effectively.

Qualifications:

J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited institution.

Licensed in Illinois, Michigan, or Washington, D.C.

3+ years of recent business immigration experience working in a US law firm.

Ability to prepare accurate petitions and documents with limited supervision.

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Utilize immigration case management systems with ease.
