Anthropic is seeking a HRIS Lead to join our People Services team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the technical configuration, testing, and operational excellence of our Workday HRIS system. During implementation, you'll work alongside our TPM team and functional leads, bringing your configuration expertise to execute HR technology changes effectively. Your hands-on technical skills will be essential in implementing and optimizing our HR technology ecosystem while supporting various initiatives that advance our mission to build safe and beneficial AI systems.Responsibilities

System Implementation & Configuration

Configure and maintain Workday modules including Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, and Time TrackingSupport change management for Workday implementation & future updatesLeverage EIBs for system updatesManage security configurations and role-based access control within WorkdayTesting & Quality Assurance

Design and execute comprehensive testing plans including regression testing, parallel testing, and user acceptance testing to support Workday implementationMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability and data accuracyMonitor post-production changes to ensure successful adoption and resolve any issues that ariseTraining & Documentation

Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for system changes and new feature rolloutsCreate and maintain detailed system documentation for business processes, integrations, and configurationsProvide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for end usersProcess Optimization

Drive the continuous improvement of Workday business processes through regular system audits and stakeholder feedbackPartner with the broader People Services team and other COEs (Benefits, Comp, Talent) to identify opportunities for process automation and system optimizationEmployee Lifecycle Support

Hands-on experience supporting a People Services team with employee lifecycle transactions and workflows (ex: open enrollment)You may be a good fit if you:

Have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday configuration and maintenance in high-growth technology companiesHave led complex Workday projects including module implementations, integrations, and feature rolloutsBackground in supporting HRIS requests and providing tier 2 system supportExperience partnering with COEs (Benefits, Comp, Talent) to optimize their Workday processesHave experience designing and executing comprehensive testing strategiesDemonstrate meticulous attention to detail in system configuration and testingDemonstrate strong project management skills in driving system changes from planning through post-production supportProven ability to balance strategic projects with operational support needsHave a proven track record of creative problem-solving and finding innovative solutions to technical challengesExcel at stakeholder management and can influence cross-functional partnersCan translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation and training materialsHave a track record of using data to drive system improvements and measure successStrong candidates may also have:

Workday Pro certifications in Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, and Time TrackingExperience building and maintaining integrations between Workday and other HR systems using Studio, Orchestrate, EIB, & APIs.Expertise in complex Business Process configurations, Calculated Fields, and Security GroupsStrong knowledge of Workday reporting and analytics tools for workforce insightsExperience operating Workday's day-to-day functions including benefits, compensation, and core HR processesExperience managing merit, bonus, and equity processes in WorkdayDeep understanding of HR policies, compliance requirements, and data privacy regulationsLogistics

Education requirements:

We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.Location-based hybrid policy:

Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.Visa sponsorship:
