Job Overview:
The Restaurant Supervisor manages the day to day activities of 48th Street Grille including managing servers, hostesses, ensuring customer satisfaction, and also hiring and training new and current employees. This positions reports directly to the Executive Chef and General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening, closing
- Assists with the training of all FOH staff including Supervisors and attendants to execute 48th Street Grille operating procedures
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills including motivating teams, holding teams accountable for, and coaching teams to demonstrate 48th Street Grille’s core values. Additionally, addressing any staff performance issues as needed
- Supervise and monitors FOH service operations and BOH operations to ensure proper execution of 48th Street Grille operating procedures
- Support service operations as needed including participating in service to provide a great guest experience
- Manage overall guest experience including guest outreach, table touches, responding to guest questions, concerns, and resolve complaints
- Support GM to execute strategic marketing plans to drive sales and traffic
- Analyze sales and business profitability to assess areas of opportunity, organize plans, and execute steps to improve the business
- Write schedules and manage labor to drive business profitability
- Review ordering, prep pars, and month-end inventory reporting to improve and maintain food cost
