This role involves both inpatient andoutpatient responsibilities, including performing interventional procedures andmanaging acute cardiac conditions.
Theschedule for this position is varied, with weekend coverage required.Additionally, the physician will participate in an on-call rotation of 1:3,providing urgent and emergency cardiac care as needed.
Thelocum physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating acute andchronic cardiac conditions in both hospitalized and outpatient settings. Keyduties include performing interventional cardiology procedures, such asangioplasty and stent placement, and interpreting EKGs, echocardiograms, stresstests, and other non-invasive cardiovascular studies.
Collaborationwith a multidisciplinary medical team will be essential in developing andimplementing effective treatment plans. The physician will also provide on-callcoverage, responding to urgent and emergent cardiac cases to ensure timely andeffective patient care.
Requirements - Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
- Active Nebraska State Medical License
- Strong procedural experience in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and other interventional techniques
