The Server Assistant  position at Café Zaffri plays a pivotal role in elevating the dining experience by supporting the wait staff and ensuring the restaurant areas are impeccably maintained and prepared for service. This dynamic position encompasses a range of responsibilities, from clearing and setting tables to anticipating guest needs and assisting with food preparation, all while upholding the high standards expected in a luxury setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently clear, clean, and set tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware with discretion and speed.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Assist in stocking linens, china, glassware, silverware, and food items; help with the preparation of items like toast, soup, or beverages.
• Support with the breakdown, cleaning, and organization of side stations and back-of-house areas.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service, ideally within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
• Exceptional personal presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management abilities, with the capability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to shifting demands.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate clearly with guests.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs.
