Position Overview?
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Bartenders to join the Members Club at The Twenty Two. The Bartender embodies a warm, genuine sense of hospitality and will be responsible for preparing and garnishing various alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages while guiding guests . Bartenders provide approachable, knowledgeable and attentive service while upholding every aspect of the established our standards.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in bartending – preferably fine dining restaurant , a solid understanding of the basics of the wine, spirits and beverage world. Daytime availability required.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the below:
- Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests
- Keeping the bar stocked and clean while always providing friendly and attentive service
- Adhering to company standards for serving alcoholic beverages
- Taking accurate beverage orders from guests
- Delivering beverages to guests in a timely manner ; ensuring that all orders are presented and delivered correctly
- Being ready and willing to assist fellow team members to maintain the smooth operation of the event
- Upholding service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
- Maintaining and upholding our company's vision and values
- Demonstrating a passion for details and a willingness to learn
- Taking part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties
- Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment, including prep rooms, bars, and service areas
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Ability to perform all technical service functions through the course of an event
- Professional attitude that comes through in personal interactions and communications
- Has a sincere interest in the hospitality industry, food, and beverage
- Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction
- Eagerness to continue growth
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Lift up to 50 pounds of weight
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, carry multiple objects
Essential Functions and Physical Demands

- Exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 12 hours per day.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

- Frequently utilize the stairs, often while lifting and carrying heavy items.
- Occasionally crouch and climb.
- Be exposed to hazards including, but not limited to, burns, cuts, scrapes, and frequent exposure of hands to water.
- Withstand fluctuations in temperature within the work environment, from high heat to below freezing.
- Be exposed to common allergens and unique ingredients.
- Handle heavy equipment and machinery.
- May be asked to travel to visit vendors or different company locations.
