We are a neighborhood restaurant and bar, part of a small restaurant group, seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to join our team.
Position Details
This is a full-time position requiring full availability. The role will primarily consist of management shifts compensated at $25-$30/hour, with up to 2.5 tipped supervisor/bartending shifts per week at $13-$16/hour plus tips.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a friendly, energetic self-starter with a passion for service, food, and beverage. They are comfortable behind the bar and on the floor, with a team-building mindset, experience in beverage ordering, and exceptional organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee front-of-house operations
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Maintain a positive and efficient work environment
- Manage and develop staff
- Handle beverage ordering and inventory
- Current BASSET and Food Handler certifications
Qualifications
- At least two years of restaurant management experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and quickly solve problems
- Exceptional multitasking and prioritizing skills
- Ability to establish and maintain a good rapport with guests
- Excellent management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead by example and inspire the team to exceed expectations
- Must be able to stand and walk an entire shift including use of ladders and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
