Job Details Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and analyze cost accounting data to ensure accurate product costing and profitability analysis.
- Perform cost variance analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency.
- Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the development of standard costs and update cost models as needed.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to monitor and control manufacturing costs.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing cost analysis and insights.
- Prepare reports on cost trends, production efficiency, and financial performance for management review.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and financial regulations.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize cost control and reporting.
