Job Description

·         You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations during their day. This will include recognizing all In-House and VIP guests, building and strengthening relationships with our guests, ensure all side work, stations and breaks are organized, all to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best and personalized experience.

·         You’ll also ensure our service standards are upheld and will assist team members to complete any necessary task. Bar Managers may have some administrative work such as completing all voids, comps, and transfers, and using the hotel operating systems. In addition, our Bar Managers host our daily shift meetings and report daily shift operations with any necessary follow up.

·         Scheduling of all Bar employees

·         Documentation and Discipline

·         Assist in creating, training, and execution of specialty cocktail offerings

·         Attending bi-weekly Food & Beverage meetings

·         Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Bar Managers are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct. 

·         While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand for up to 9 hours.  Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

·         Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.
