Cath Lab Technologist Opportunity in Eureka, California
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for an exciting travel assignment in Eureka, California. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to a high-performing cardiac care team in a picturesque coastal setting.
Position Details:
- Start Date: Immediate
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour (06:30 - 17:00)
- Duration: 13 weeks with potential for extension
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform 8-12 cardiac procedures daily, including coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Assist with permanent pacemaker implantations
- Operate and maintain specialized cardiac catheterization equipment
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and radiation protection measures
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary cardiac care team
- Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation
Required Qualifications:
- ARRT certification
- Valid Fluoroscopy Permit
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Proficiency in coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmia procedures
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Familiarity with a variety of cardiac intervention techniques
