Key Responsibilities
• Menu Innovation – Develop and execute seasonal, creative menus that showcase Brazilian cuisine while maintaining high culinary standards.
• Kitchen Leadership – Lead daily kitchen operations, foster a collaborative and disciplined work environment, and ensure consistency in food execution.
• Cost & Inventory Control – Manage food costs, supplier relationships, and inventory to maintain efficiency and profitability.
• Food Quality & Presentation – Uphold high standards for taste, technique, and plating , ensuring every dish meets expectations.
• Team Development – Train, mentor, and cultivate a positive, high-energy culture within the kitchen team.
• Regulatory Compliance – Ensure strict adherence to health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Collaboration – Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and a cohesive guest experience.
• Financial Management – Oversee P&L, labor costs, and overall kitchen expenses , optimizing efficiency without compromising quality.
What You Bring
• Passion for Craft & Authenticity – A strong dedication to culinary excellence, with a curiosity for Brazilian flavors and techniques.
• Leadership & Mentorship – Minimum 1 years in a leadership role as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, or equivalent in a high-volume setting.
• Operational Expertise – Strong skills in menu development, food costing, and inventory control.
• Fast-Paced Energy – Ability to thrive in a high-energy, demanding kitchen environment while maintaining composure and focus.
• Bilingual Preferred – Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus but not required.
