Job Summary
This position involves working within the nursing process to provide direct care to assigned patients. As a Registered Nurse, you will serve as a role model in promoting a positive work environment and quality patient care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe direct care to an assigned group of patients. This includes implementing and documenting individualized care plans, administering medication, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
In addition to providing direct patient care, the RN will also participate in orientation and precepting of new personnel. They will enhance their professional growth and development through education programs, reading current literature, and attending in-services, meetings, and workshops.
To be eligible for this role, applicants must hold a nationally accredited nursing graduate degree and have at least one year of directly related experience. Certification in the area of specialty is preferred but not required.
The physical demands of this position require heavy work exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.
This position requires the ability to work safely with chemicals and bio-hazardous materials, requiring personal protective equipment (PPE).
Benefits
The minimum offer for this position is $40.30 per hour, and the maximum offer is also $40.30 per hour. Shift differentials include 17% for weekday nights, 26% for weekend nights, and 15% for weekend day shifts.
