Our client is embarking on an exciting journey to elevate customer experiences through technology and looking to hire a Senior Software Developer to lead the strategic design and buildout of a transformative Order Visibility application. This application empowers our clients commercial customers with real-time visibility into the status of their orders across various channels.

As the Senior Developer for the OCOV application, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural vision and technical strategy for the development and deployment of this groundbreaking product. Leveraging the technology stack consisting of *Spring Boot Java microservices (Java v17)*, you will guide the technical design decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and overseeing the successful implementation of the application within the specified technology environment.

*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* *5+ years* of experience as a Backend Developer, working in enterprise size environments
* Experience with integrating front-end applications with *RESTful APIs *and *Micro-Frontends*
* *Experience with Java Spring Boot*
* Experience working within a *monorepo* environment and using *Git* for version control.
* Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
* Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in coding, testing, and debugging.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

*Responsibilities:*

*Application Architecture:*
* Contribute to the design and architecture of the OCOV application within a monorepo environment, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
* Collaborate with the development team to optimize application performance and user interactions.

*Real-Time Order Visibility:*
* Integrate with back-end APIs to display real-time order status and updates to commercial customers.
* Implement data visualization techniques to provide clear and insightful order tracking.

*Version Control and Collaboration:*
* Utilize GitHub for version control, code review, and collaboration within the development team.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between front-end and back-end development efforts.

*Code Quality and Testing:*
* Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices.
* Conduct testing and debugging of front-end components to ensure functionality and optimal performance.

*Continuous Learning and Innovation:*
* Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in front-end development to drive innovation within the OCOV application.
* Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the user experience and application features.

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
