The Neenah Parks and Recreation Department employs summer staff ages 15 & older for recreation in sports, playgrounds & swimming pool. Requirements:

• 15 years of age by opening of the Neenah Pool Season.
• Ability to work with varied age groups.
• Decision-making skills.
• Lifeguard: Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training/First Aid/CPR/AED.
• Water Safety Instructor: Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI).

• Lifeguard: Prevent injuries, enforce facility rules, and recognize and respond effectively to all emergencies by monitoring activities in and near the water. Interact positively and in an exemplary fashion with costumers. Complete assigned cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Water Safety Instructor : In addition to the above: Responsible for planning coordinating and teaching Parent and Child Aquatics, Preschool Aquatics, Learn-to-Swim and/or Water Safety courses, according to American Red Cross guidelines.

• Winter interview invitations will be emailed mid December. Interview dates will take place on the final week of December.
