What does yourrole bring to the table?
The Snooze Payroll Specialist,along with the Payroll team, will protect and grow the amazing Snooze cultureby processing all of the weekly restaurant payrolls while ensuring completeaccuracy of pay rates, declared tips, hours worked by each team member and muchmore! This position will also maintain great relationships with our restaurant Snoozersboth close to home and across the country, taste-test delicious breakfast, andbe part of a People-First culture.
The Position specifics!
Taking on the role of Payroll Specialist isnt just about bacon andpancakes. The responsibilities of this position include:
- Review and import hourly team member time andattendance for a portion of the 3000+ (and growing) Snoozers into Paylocity.
- Audit time and hourly rates for completenessand accuracy
- Process all team member garnishments and manageVOE(s) with assistance of 3rd party administrators
- Process any off-cycle or termination checks toensure compliance with all applicable state and federal guidelines
- Maintain open communication with the People andCulture Team to ensure accuracy of newhires, transfers, merit increases, benefits deductions, and other cross-functionalareas
- Process W-2C(s) as needed
- Spearheading other tasks and duties as assigned to meet Snoozes businessand operational needs

Lets talk prerequisites!(Education, credentials, and experience)
- Must be authorized to work In the United States
- Multi-state payroll experience preferred,California payroll experience required
- 3-5 years of experience in payroll processingand garnishments
- Experience with Paylocity or similarweb-basedHRIS system
- Relevant hospitality industry experiencepreferred

- Must have the stamina to work 45 to 55 hours per week
- Minimal travel required
- Home base is in Denver, CO at the Snooze Mothership (training in officefor 3-6 months, hybrid option available 6+ months)
The Nitty GrittyDetails
Denver area base salary range: $70,000-$80,000 per year
The base salary range above represents the low and high end of theSnooze salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may beabove or below the range based on various factors including but not limited toexperience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality ofproduction, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The rangelisted is just one component of Snoozes total compensation package foremployees.
