Job Description Title : Sales Support Representative
Location : Near Vallejo, CA
Hire Type : 6+ months contract with full benefits!
Pay : $25-$30/hr.

Sterling Engineering is looking for a Sales Support Specialist for a leading manufacturer of pumps, valves and seals. This is a great opportunity to work with a very stable company!
Job Duties :
- Primary point of contact for customers, collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments
- Respond to customer inquiries (pricing, parts availability, order status, expedite requests, etc.)
- Process orders, quotations, and change orders quickly and accurately
- Negotiate terms with customers (lead-times, delivery, payment) to establish win-win agreements
- Resolve Accounts Receivable issues, including applying credits and discounts
- Comply with legal requirements (e.g., SOX, Export Compliance, Terms and Conditions, ISO)
- Support continuous improvement projects in collaboration with Sales leadership
- Assist with 30-day/quarterly sales forecast and monthly outlook processes
Qualifications :
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact effectively with customers and internal teams
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of legal and compliance requirements (SOX, Export Compliance, ISO)
- Familiarity with engineered products and manufacturing processes is preferred
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales Engineers, Application Engineers, Manufacturing, etc.)
- Capacity to influence and build strong customer relationships
- Strong customer-focused mindset with a results-driven approach
