What you'll do: As an employee-owner appliance sales support, you will provide customers with a superior customer experience by professionally answering inquires on products and services with enthusiasm, field customer questions, and occasionally greet customers in our showroom. Your full-time work schedule may vary but it is predictable.
Essential Functions - Provide customers with a superior customer experience by professionally answering inquires on products and services with enthusiasm.
- Build effective partnerships with manufactures and internal staff to provide customers with satisfactory resolutions.
- Document customer interactions with detailed inquiries, concerns, or comments. As appropriate, follow issues through to resolution.
- Answer incoming calls and emails from customers; field questions and concerns as appropriate.
- Assist customers and sales staff with scheduling warranty services and resolving warranty related issues.
- Process customer payments and credits in the accounting software (i.e. credit card payments, cash, check).
- Assist with sorting mail and distribute the mail to the appropriate department/employee. Prepare outgoing mail (i.e. USPS, UPS, FedEx).
- Perform additional duties as required and requested.
Qualified candidates will have: - High School diploma or equivalent.
- One year of customer service in an office setting, call center, retail setting, service industry or other customer-facing workplace.
- One year of computer and web-based applications, mobile applications, MS Outlook and Word, basic Excel.
- Some experience with database management systems such as customer management or accounting software; multi-line phone system, fax machine, and mailroom equipment hardware and software (preferred).
- Appliance whole distribution or transferal industry experience (preferred).
- Proven work history of being dependable and attentive to details.
