About the Agency: The Idaho Division of Career Technical Education (IDCTE) provides leadership, administration, and coordination for programs in secondary and post secondary career technical education (CTE) and adult education across the state of Idaho. With a customer-service focus, the Division leads Idaho's efforts to prepare youth and adults for high-skill, in-demand careers. Location: We will hire three Regional Teacher Educators, one for each of the following Educational areas: Regions 1 and 2 (North Idaho), Regions 3 and 4 (West and Southern Idaho), Regions 5 and 6 (East and Central Idaho). The ideal candidate will live and work in the respective regions. This position is located in East and Central Idaho. Position Overview: IDCTE is seeking three dynamic and experienced professionals to join our team as regional Career Technical Education (CTE) Teacher Educators. In this role, you will provide mentorship, professional development and guidance to CTE teachers, helping them enhance instructional practices and pedagogy to improve student outcomes within the CTE domain. As a CTE Teacher Educator, you will play a vital part in preparing and empowering CTE educators (secondary and postsecondary) to deliver high-quality education and prepare students for success in their chosen career paths. The Educator Services Team will be working, in partnership with stakeholders, on the creation and development of in-house delivered new teacher training modules to meet the requirements of transitioning new educators from a limited occupational specialist certificate to a renewable standard occupational specialist certificate.
