Education Requirement - Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Experience License/Certifications - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (RT.R.ARRT) certification in Radiography is required.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities - Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring they understand the process and are positioned correctly. Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for both patients and staff.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians. Adjust and maintain equipment to ensure accurate and efficient performance.
- Follow established protocols for imaging procedures, ensuring consistent results. Monitor images during procedures to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Document patient information, procedure details, and imaging results accurately in the medical records system. Ensure proper labeling and storage of images.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to review images and provide necessary technical information. Assist in determining the appropriate imaging techniques for each patient.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including radiation safety guidelines and institutional policies. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology.
