Summary The Department of Biology at Saint Xavier University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Microbiology.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Teach Microbiology and the general biology sequence courses
- Provide service to the department
- Provide undergraduate academic advising
- Engage undergraduate students in research while maintaining a scholarship agenda
Qualifications - Doctorate in a microbiology program; ABD applicants will be considered, contingent on a successful doctoral defense prior to August 2024
- Ability to develop courses in their specialty
- Evidence of effective teaching
- Evidence of ability or potential to engage undergraduate students in research
- Willingness and ability to support the Mission of Saint Xavier University and the Mercy Tradition's value of service to others ().
- Be legally able to work in the United States.
