Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in various clinical settings, including ambulatory surgery centers and emergency rooms. This role requires a proactive approach to patient assessment and the ability to provide high-quality nursing care across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and individuals with disabilities.
Job Title: Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Lawton, OK
Assignment Duration: 3 months with a possible 3-month extension
Shift Availability:
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Night Shift: 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Block schedule: Alternating weeks of 48 hours and 36 hours
Pay Rate: $75-$80/hour (Stipend Included)
RN Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical setting, including assessment and monitoring of vital signs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV insertion and tube feeding.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, including BLS and ACLS protocols.Requirements:
Active, unrestricted RN license in the U.S.
Submission Process:
Submit a completed submission packet with updated certifications
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience (4 years preferred)
At least 1 year of experience in a tertiary-level facility within the past 23 months
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Dysrhythmia preferred
Must meet physical requirements, including lifting 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
Valid state driver’s license
Immunization documentation required:
Rubella, Mumps, Measles immunity
Annual Influenza vaccine
Hepatitis A & B immunity
Chickenpox immunity or positive titer
Tetanus Diphtheria (Td) within the last 5 years
TB skin test (PPD) within the past 12 months with follow-up for positive results
