Job Description:
Valley View Hospital is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) Travel RN to join our Family Birth Place Team in Glenwood Springs, CO. This role involves L&D, OR, PACU, and postpartum couplet care in a collaborative, evidence-based environment. Our team handles approximately 60 deliveries per month, caring for infants 32 weeks and up.

Schedule:
12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends
On-call rotation: One 12-hour shift every 6 weeks (subject to change)
Requirements:
? Active Colorado RN license (or Compact License) – in good standing
? American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS – Required
? NRP Certification – Required
? STABLE Certification – Required
? Flu Vaccine – Required (No exemptions)

Labor and Delivery RN Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs and respond to any complications.
Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed, including catheterization and tube feeding when necessary.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families about the labor process and postpartum care.
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
