    Job Details
  • Registered Nurse position at Piedmont Augusta Hospital
  • Patient Population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers accepted
  • Need an RN operating room circulator with at least 1 year circulator experience in the intraoperative setting; Specialties include: Retina surgery, total hip/knees, Hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT, Lap Chole, Hernia repairs, Podiatry
  • Ratio / Census: 1:4; 5 rooms with average daily census of 18
  • Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis
  • Scrub Color: Provided by the facility
  • Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
    Job Requirements
  • Certifications Required: BLS
  • State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date
  • Annual Nursys (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date
  • Background Check required within 30 days of start.
    Schedule Information
  • 6:30-3pm and 8:30-5pm
  • Traveler will have to work 5 days one week and 4 the next equaling 72 hours in a two week period
  • They will have 1 day off every other week
  • Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit may expect RN to stay over based on the certain amount of rooms that have been finished called dots and double dots.
