  • Neuro Trauma ICU RN
  • Start Date: Must be 4/28 start
  • Shift: 4x12 Days 0700-1930
  • Ratios: 1:2
  • Years of Experience REQ: 2 Years ICU experience; at least 1 year perm prior to travel
  • Epic Experience REQ? 1 year of Epic experience is required
  • First-Timers Accepted: No, would prefer an experienced traveler with 2-3 prior completed assignments
  • Weekend REQ: must be flexible, scheduled based on unit needs
  • Skills REQ: Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Thermoregulation: hypothermia/hyperthermia, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, IV insulin protocols, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, and Temp pacers.
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? Looking for a flexible candidate.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
  • Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: GIB, ETOH withdraw, DKA, Sepsis, Covid, ARDS, CHF, CKD, AKI, Donor, Post cardiac arrest, Psychiatric symptoms, MSOF, CVA, ICH.
  • Common Equipment: Pa Catheters, right and left Impellla, ventilators, Cheeta, CRRT, and IABP, and Zoll cooling catheter, and Artic Sun pads.
    Job Requirements
  • Valid state licensure/certification as required for services being performed
  • 2 Years ICU experience; at least 1 year perm prior to travel
  • 1 year of Epic experience is required
  • Must sign SS verification release
  • Must be flexible, scheduled based on unit needs
  • Pending License Accepted: Yes

  • Shift: 4x12 Days 0700-1930

  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
    Unit Specific Information
  • Travelers float between CVICU and NTICU. Also float to Telemetry, Acute Care (neurology, Surgical, Ortho/Med) Obs, ED boarding; Float in turns.
    Additional Details
  • Must sign SS verification release.
  • Orientation Manual - Traveler must review prior to start. Nothing to turn in.
  • Confirmation of Standards Checklist must be completed and submitted with the file.
