Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Dietitian Nutritionist I-HC to join their growing team at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, located in Sanford, Florida. We are a 221-bed acute care facility with the only full-service cardiovascular program in the region including open heart surgery, cardiac rehabilitation, and interventional cardiology; advanced orthopedic and spine care, hip fracture treatment, total knee replacement; and advanced robotic surgery.
Our Clinical Nutrition team is a crucial and valued part of our interdisciplinary team, practicing at the top of their scope, by exercising order writing privileges and placing feeding tubes. The Dietitian will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager:
Provide inpatient nutritional care & medical nutrition therapy counseling for patients with varying medical diagnosis .
- Will have 0-2 years of experience
- Provide education to patients, as well as staff and work closely with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
Possess the ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment
Have excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
Have strong time management and organizational skills

Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
