We are looking for a talented sous chef to join our team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have exceptional cooking skills. Additionally, you will need
to have strong leadership, communication and product ordering abilities as you will often be tasked with
leading the kitchen staff through busy dinner services. Qualified candidates will have previous
experience in a kitchen leadership role. Turkish, Greek, Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisines
experiences are plus.
Sous Chef Job Responsibilities:
? Prepares food properly.
? Orders food supplies.
? Directs food preparation and collaborates with executive chef.
? Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies.
? Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards.
? Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen’s performance.
? Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment.
? Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the kitchen.
